Sniff
As you walk down the street you are approached by a dog. He is on his guard trying to discern your intentions. He will follow you and interpret your gestures as friendly or aggressive. He will try to engage you in a relationship and get you to pay attention to him.
Sniff is an interactive projection in a storefront window. As the viewer walks by the projection, her movements and gestures are tracked by a computer vision system. A CG dog dynamically responds to these gestures and changes his behavior based on the state of engagement with the viewer.

Yet More Kitsch...
Far from simply photoshopping an animal head on a human body, the pet portraits of Valerie Leonard reflect a level of care and personality that's peerless in the field. Inspired by the Old Masters, as well as film and family portraits, her images balance a level of whimsy with a stateliness befitting their regal subjects.

Have been intrigued by this technology for a while but it's always seemed a bit 'gimmicky'. This application is actually usefull and suggest a whole host of applications that are less about showing off your technological know how and more about actually showing off your wares.More

BLING BLING SKATE TING.
“Your Mercury Ocean” is the name of this skateboard designed by Olafur Eliasson. It another great collaboration between Mekanism and an artist or designer. Olafur is the first one who asked Mekanism to produce a 13-ply deck instead of a standard 7-ply. This extra thickness gave him the possibility to mill a 3d pattern on it. Afterward, the deck received a mirror coating.
