YouTube Soothe Sampler.

Although not an entirely new idea (sampling youtube vids: check guy's stuff out) this is a lovely piece of work. Called In Bb 2.0 it's a collaborative music and spoken word project conceived by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls, and developed with contributions from users.

The videos can be played simultaneously -- the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders. The end result is a beautiful etherial bit of music reminiscent of Fridge. Personally i'd like to see the idea taken further - perhaps into a motion activated installation but it works pretty well and will undoubtedly have you snoozing in no time.
Have a play
