This weekend saw the launch of a new Brinkworth retail concept store for Hugo Boss Orange, in Hong Kong’s premier retail mall, IFC. A dramatic mall façade, constructed entirely of glazed, open steel cube-work, applies a matrix that follows through the store, alluding to the precision of draughtsman’s paper and providing a gridded backdrop to the wall system. This open meshwork is reflected in the centrepiece denim display, a suspended tower of municipal-style lockers, constructed from copper and dramatically illuminated from within.
